Before choosing the color palette of outfits, you need to choose the location. To make your photos look harmonious, you can take colors from the location and incorporate them into your outfits. For example, if you have a session in a park with earthy tones and a blue river, you might consider wearing warm browns, tans, deep greens, and serene blues to complement the natural surroundings.

Portland and Vancouver

Cooper Mountain Nature Park

18892 SW Kemmer Rd #5682, Beaverton, OR 97007

This is one of my favorite locations! Great place for sessions all year round! In spring and early summer, this park has a warm shade of green.

Fort Vancouver National Historic Site

1501 E Evergreen Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98661

Graham Oaks Nature Park

11825 SW Wilsonville Rd, Wilsonville, OR 97070

I love this place with the very soft color of the grass and trees. Lupines bloom in May, this is an excellent option for a full or mini session.

Hoyt Arboretum

3999 SW Fairview Blvd, Portland, OR 97221

This location is best chosen at the end of Summer and Fall, at other times the grass has a cold green color, which will not affect the skin tone well.

Pittock Mansion

3229 NW Pittock Dr, Portland, OR 97210

International Rose Test Garden

400 SW Kingston Ave, Portland, OR 97205

The best time for a photoshoot in this park is during the rose bloom period, from late May to June.

West Union Gardens

7775 NW Cornelius Pass Rd, Hillsboro, OR 97124

Stunning flower fields and sunflowers are perfect for mini sessions from mid-August to early September.

Downtown Portland

321 SW 6th Ave, Portland, OR 97204

Beautiful location in the city, we will walk within a couple of blocks to take photos with different backgrounds.

Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall

1037 SW Broadway, Portland, OR 97205

The Society Hotel

203 NW 3rd Ave, Portland, OR 97209

This is a cafe in the hotel, there is access to the rooftop with a beautiful view!

Rooftop parking

1480 SW 4th Ave, Portland, OR 97201

Tous Les Jours — Orenco Station

6221 NE Cornell Rd, Hillsboro, OR 97124

A quiet street, a beautiful city background, croissants and coffee, a roof in case of rain — all this is ideal for families with active little ones.

Vancouver Waterfront

695 Waterfront Wy, Vancouver, WA 98660

Columbia Gorge

Government Cove Peninsula

M5R5+975 Cascade Locks, Oregon

Hamilton Island Recreation Area

Fort Cascades Dr, North Bonneville, WA 98639

This is a very beautiful place with access to the water.
